Dorchester Illustration of the Day no. 1890
Matchbook cover. Caption: GE 6-6361. at Field’s Corner. Altshuler’s, 1485 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Mass.
From the illustration I guess it is obvious that Altshuler’s was a record store. Number 1485 Dorchester Avenue is the building on the west side of Dorchester Avenue between Faulkner Street and the T railway trestle.
