Dorchester Illustration of the Day no. 1613

Postcard. Caption on front: Walter Baker Chocolate Mills, from the Big Chimney. copyright 1905 Frederick A. Frizell. Postally unused.

At the very left you can see the Blaney Baptist Church at the corner of Dorchester Avenue.  Just in front of that you can see the car barn for the trolleys where the high-rise building is now located.  At the western side of the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Washington Street you can see the Milton Inn where Dark Horse Antiques is located now.  There is a mansard-roofed building where the Baker Chocolate Administration was later built.
